Watches & Wonders 2025: All The First-Time Exhibitors

New names who showed up and showed out.

This past week, the Revolution team was running high and low across the Palexpo, discovering the latest novelties across 60 exhibiting brands. Of course, we hit up the big guns, Rolex and Patek Philippe, whose 2025 releases have dazzled us, enthralled others and bewildered some. Cartier’s Tank à Guichets was a hit; IWC refreshed its Ingenieur offerings; Jaeger-LeCoultre brought its Reverso icon to the fray; Tudor upsized a new Black Bay collection, and Vacheron Constantin introduced the world’s most complicated wristwatch. Even the group of independent watchmakers who make up the other strong half of the show had notable timepieces that were a cause for excitement — from H. Moser & Cie’s colorful fumé dials to Ressence’s debut of a GMT watch and its accompanying bracelet.

Most of all, we saw a new wave of first-time exhibitors, who injected a fresh and lively spirit to the ever-growing salon. They were namely: Bvlgari, Christiaan van der Klaauw, Genus, Kross Studio, MeisterSinger, Armin Strom, and HYT. Bvlgari knocked it out of the park with the world’s thinnest tourbillon watch and the introduction of a new Serpenti motif, which you can read all about here. For the following independent watchmakers, here’s what they brought to the fray:

Armin Strom: One Week Skeleton Titanium

Armin Strom has brought forward another One Week novelty in a new titanium make. Except unlike the Orbit Purple that they launched a week prior, with a stunning showcase of a new purple fumé dial, the new Titanium version has fully skeletonized the signature configuration with an exposed subsidiary seconds, giving way to the power reserve and escapement wheel below, along with hollowed out mainspring barrels. These cater for the large 7-day power reserve, making up the manual-winding ARM16. Production is limited to just 100 pieces.

HYT: S1 & T1 collections in titanium

Continuing the titanium showcase, HYT introduces new titanium models across their T1 and S1 collections, the latter seeing three new references joining their permanent collection. The trio — S1 Titanium DLC Blue, S1 Titanium DLC Green, and S1 Beadblasted Titanium Red — is each distinguished by their retrograde fluidic hour display in corresponding colors. The Blue and Green versions sport black DLC titanium cases with their namesake fluids, while the Red variant showcases a silver beadblasted titanium case and vibrant red fluid.

The main hours are displayed through the brand’s signature hydromechanical technology that allows the colored liquid to move through a borosilicate capillary tube powered by two microscopic bellows. Within each 45.3mm titanium case, a manual-winding movement provides up to 72 hours of power reserve, and is dressed in either rubber or Velcro strap options via a quick-change system.

The third-generation T1 timepiece showcases a stunning blue guilloché dial. The dial features three distinct hand-carved patterns: linear markings on the flange, dynamic circular patterns emanating from the center, and a sunray motif on the power reserve subdial.

The octagonal 45.3mm titanium case displays main hours in black fluid through its hydromechanical movement. The watch comes with both blue alligator and black rubber straps featuring quick-release systems.

Christiaan van der Klaauw: Grand Planetarium Eccentric Meteorite

Christiaan van der Klaauw has taken the astronomical design up a notch with the latest Grand Planetarium Eccentric Meteorite, in a planned series of just three pieces. CVDK lays claim to producing the world’s only mechanical Grand Planetary complication that accurately displays all eight planets — Mercury through Neptune — orbiting the Sun in real time.

The aventurine glass dial creates a stunning night sky backdrop, complete with zodiac constellations and hand-painted planetary orbits. Between Mars and Jupiter sits a meteorite dial ring containing actual fragments of Martian meteorite dated 50,000 years ago (that CEO Pim Koeslag specially acquired from NASA). All this is housed within an exceptional lightweight case (weighing 47g) made from meteorite that was crafted out of a 1.09 kg space stone. The unique material features a Widmanstätten pattern, formed over millions of years of slow cooling in space.

The manufacture movement comprises a free-sprung hairspring, variable-inertia balance wheel, and exquisite finishing throughout, including star-shaped bridges and a skeletonized rose gold rotor.

Only two pieces have been created so far, with the final third piece waiting to be completed that’s dependent on available meteorite material.

Genus: GNS2 Infinity Blue

Genus’ latest GNS2 Infinity Blue presents an aesthetic update to the traveling arrows-display. Broken into a sector-styled dial, a set of arrows run along the periphery indicating hours, while a separate set travels along a figure-eight path to mark minutes. A deep blue dial contrasts beautifully with warm golden elements in the hand-hammered double-crescent dials.

Housed in a lightweight grade 5 titanium case, the watch is powered by an in-house movement with approximately 50 hours of power reserve. The contemporary piece is fitted with a rubber strap and fold-over “G” clasp and produced in a strictly limited numbered edition.

Kross Studio: MT1 Chronomètre Tourbillon 7 Jours

For its first Watches & Wonders Geneva appearance, Kross Studio does something a little different to the configuration we’ve been more familiar with. The MT1 Chronomètre Tourbillon 7 Jours presents a new in-house KS 7010 MT caliber, with a flying tourbillon now at 6 o’clock, instead of its usual central position.

The manual-winding movement boasts COSC chronometer certification, and as the name states, provides a 7-day power reserve. The movement is visible through the crystal caseback, which showcases a decorative “Raindrop” motif, a pattern mimicking ripples on still water.

The 44mm timepiece frames a skeletonized architecture that, what seems like for the first time, includes founder Marco Tedeschi’s name on the dial. Yet against the dial’s complex showing, satin-finished rose gold hands help to stand out for legibility. Grade 5 titanium form the lug-free case, which features an innovative crown integrated into the caseback for improved ergonomics.

Priced at CHF 68,000, the timepiece comes with interchangeable straps featuring a discreet push-button system for easy customization.

MeisterSinger x Alain Silberstein Kaenos

For their W&W debut, MeisterSinger has partnered with celebrated French watch designer Alain Silberstein to create two stunning limited-edition watches. MeisterSinger is known for their distinctive single-hand approach for nearly 25 years. Silberstein, meanwhile, brings his signature bold colors and geometric playfulness to the table. The result has culminated in two new models, each limited to 225 pieces, and featuring jet-black dials with Silberstein’s eye-catching red hour hand and a golden second hand, the latter a departure from MeisterSinger’s usual single-hand philosophy. The watches come in Grand Date and Open Date versions, housed in MeisterSinger’s new 40mm Kaenos case with an integrated steel bracelet.

The new Kaenos series was also released to its regular production line, featuring a sportier interpretation with four new dials. Comprising 40mm steel cases and a matching integrated bracelet, two variations  are available: with either a large date at 6 o’clock or an open date disk viewable at 12 o’clock. Dials arrive in four color options: midnight black, light gray, ice blue, or petrol.
